The End…

It’s been awhile, surprise surprise… I totally forgot to update for like a month again. In my defense I’ve been very busy! My roommates and I finally moved out of 3308 at the end of March, it was pretty sad leaving it behind. Lots of people came and went all winter but at the end there was still six of us that were always there… Panda, Jeff, Shannon, Meare, Scarff, and myself. I couldn’t have asked for better roommates this winter. Everyone is now off on separate adventures, so I’m sending big hugs and lots of love to all of them!

Once we moved out of the house in town we headed up to Silver Star and stayed at the SameSun hostel, meghan (who is a babe) hooked us up there. We spent the last week chillin in our little room together, and playing waaaaay too much drink pong! Here’s some pictures from random times and Drinkin Long Johns Dry!

After that it was back to town for me, Meare and Shannon gave me a place to crash for a few days and I love them for it!!! The GirlArmy ladies rock! We wandered around a bit and checked out Ellison park which is super nice, a bit small though. I really give those girls props for putting up with me hanging out in their amazing place for three days, and they even took care of my fish Duke! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Then it was time for closing weekend at Big White with the whole crew. It dumped the day I got there and all the lifts were closed besides ridge rocket, so we got up super early that morning and booked it over to Gem Lake for first chair… It was AMAZING. Best riding that I got all season for sure. Big white also had a 100 ft flat-up-down-flat box that was sooo awesome… We had some good nights in big white, too much shotgunning & dancing & running home at 5am just to sleep on the floor, only to get up at 8am for first chair…ah I love it.

after that I went back to Vernon, hiked BX Falls for my last day and then got all dressed up with the girls for the first time this winter and went out for margaritas!!! Then it was back to Saskatchewan, which is where I am right now… but I’m headed back to BC tomorrow afternoon. I’m staying in Vernon for the summer!!! I’m so excited, you have no idea! Girl Army reunited!!!

The drive back to Sask was so sketchy from Calgary to Medicine Hat, it snowed like a foot and the roads weren’t being plowed! This is the #1 highway at like noon! WTF! Serious semi fail

Finally I made it home, it’s soooo flat!!! I was missing the prairie sunsets tho!
